Study: iPhone Makes you 76% More Desirable on Dating Apps

According to a study conducted by Compare My Mobile, iPhones make you hot on dating apps. They looked at 50,000 results from swiping and matching on popular apps. They created dating profiles that were identical except for the brand of the phone being featured. Here’s how much hotter the different devices made the users.

Profiles featuring an iPhone increased their chances of being swiped right on by 76%.

Profiles featuring an Apple Watch increased their chances of being swiped right on by 61%.

Profiles featuring Airpods increased their chances of being swiped right on by 41%.

Profiles featuring a Samsung device increased their chances of being swiped right on by 19%.

Profiles featuring a Google device actually decreased a users chance of being swiped right on by 10%.

Profiles featuring a Sony device actually decreased a users chance of being swiped right on by 14%.

Profiles featuring a Huwaei device actually decreased a users chance of being swiped right on by 23%.

Profiles featuring a OnePlus device actually decreased a users chance of being swiped right on by 30%.

Finally, having a BlackBerry device decreased users chances of being matched by 74%.

Aside from people overall being thirstier for Apple users, the study also found that women care more about what brand of tech their match uses than men. Also, the study found that millennials care more about what tech you own than what car you drive.

So there you have it, you can give yourself a better chance at getting matched with by choosing the right tech to feature on your profile!
