The acid trip of a show was announced in a surprise tweet from Kid Cudi.
The hip hop duo of West and Cudi (Scott Mescudi), dubbed Kids See Ghosts, emerged to critical acclaim back in the summer of 2018 with their self titled album. Both artists have dealt with mental health issues in the past, and their combined efforts have delivered a passionate story of self-acceptance.

Directed by Takashi Murakami, who has also worked recently with Billie Eilish, a contemporary artist who is best known for his colorful and psychedelic cartoon art. He describes his work as “superflat,” a term he coined that blurs the line between high art and popular art that has inspired him, such as anime or manga.
Tekashi 6ix9ine must be kicking himself.
The trailer itself opens with Louis Prima’s sample at the beginning of the album’s 3rd track, “4th Dimension,” transporting the viewer into the vibrantly animated world conjured by the artists. From there, we see Kanye’s iconic Bear and Cudi’s Fox characters chased by spirits, a nature-mech lady that morphs into a fighter jet, and Yeezy sneakers with rocket boosters that save the cartoon personas from a rainbow-colored abyss. What it all means is anyone’s guess, but it definitely looks dope.
