Mayan Warrior To Raise Relief Funds via Virtual Rave

Let’s rave to save the planet!

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Mayan Warrior, the Burning Man art-car-turned-electronic-music-collective founded by Mexican tech entrepreneur Pablo Gonzalez, has delivered 5,000 masks and 5,000 face shields to hospitals in underserved communities where the government has been unable to deliver life-saving PPE equipment.

And they want to deliver hundreds of thousands more, but they need your help.

The Mayan Warrior Foundation has set up factories in Mexico City and Tulum with the ability to produce hundreds of thousands of units. They are raising funds to cover fabrication costs as well as labor costs for local workers. To this end, they are also committed to creating many jobs within local Mexican communities.

The ticket price for the virtual event is a donation of your choice. for those who want to dance with your friends, you can join the limited zoom room (max 1k people) or set up your own private zoom party.

This event will not be streamed on any public network like Facebook or YouTube. The only way to enjoy some of the finest beats on the planet is to get a ticket and access the stream on the Howler platform.

So Burners, take your 2020 Burning Man funds and pool them together to save lives in Mexico! This link will serve as the portal to the virtual performance – so you can help save lives just by taking part and enjoying the virtual Mayan Warrior experience.
