As many of you know by now, the NFL had to go digital for this year’s draft due to the coronavirus pandemic. While many people were worried about cybersecurity and hackers, the 2020 NFL Draft has begun without a hitch (so far) – and the #1 pick went to none other than LSU Tigers quarterback, Joe Burrow.
Burrow was selected first round, first pick by the Cincinatti Bengals, who finished last season with a 2-14 record – yikes. On the upside, Joe is from Ohio, has a lot to offer, and is thrilled to be home. Burrow is coming off one of the most successful college seasons of all time. In his senior year, he threw for 5,671 yards, 60 touchdown passes, and averaged a 76% completion rate – unreal. He not only broke multiple NCAA and school records – he also won the Heisman, the Maxwell Award, and the Walter Camp Award.
Now, the pressure is on. Cincinatti is expecting big things from Joe, and he is looking to deliver now that he has stepped up to the big leagues. What do you guys think – does Burrow have what it takes to do some damage in the NFL? Let us know in the comments below.
