The legend, the myth, the absolute everything to the people of Argentina, Diego Maradona has passed away at the age of 60 as originally reported by the Argentine newspaper Clarin. He was hospitalized and released on November 11th, but it appears he has passed away due to a heart attack.
The president of Argentine football (AFA) Claudio Tapia released a statement saying he “expresses its deepest pain at the death of our legend, Diego Armando Maradona. You’ll always be in our hearts.”

He lived a passionate and Rockstar lifestyle from just missing out forming a part of Argentina’s 1978 World Cup Winning team to being the star and most lethal player at the 1986 World Cup, where, if you ask Argentines, he single-handedly destroyed defenses, humiliated England and went on to glory.
The news is devastating especially when you consider 2020 has taken not just our friends and loved ones through Covid, but irreplaceable sports figures as well such as Kobe Bryant and now the king, the Lord, the most amazing soccer player to ever touch the ball, Maradona.
Stay tuned for updates as the world comes to terms with the death of the man who made Argentina dream over and over. At least we all know that now Messi, has to go all Lebron James and win a title with his country for the man with the hand of God who is now juggling with God himself in heaven. Messi honored Maradona with a wondergoal and tribute during the Barcelona match in 2020 against Osasuna.
RIP to Diego Maradona 2020, and thank you for the thrills.
