Actor, badass, hero, taco-preneur, and donut king Danny Trejo threw a socially distant drive-thru event giving away Trejo’s Tacos menu items to frontline workers at the East Los Angeles Civic Center. NBC 4 in LA reported on the event first which was a partnership involving The Everest Foundation and LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis. This event helped feed frontline workers and doctors including over 800 families this holiday season.
The Machete star has definitely stood out when it comes to putting his money where his heart is, from feeding frontliners to promoting a soldier who works at Trejo’s Tacos. It’s no wonder he was give the LA Community Service Award. This is not the first time he’s helped feed those affected by the pandemic. The event took place this past weekend.
