Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert Documentary Released

Coachella has found an innovative way to celebrate their 20th anniversary from a safe distance. On what would have been the first weekend of the world famous festival, AEG and Goldenvoice released a documentary celebrating the greatest moments from the festival’s two decades entitled, Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert.

The doc was released April 10th on YouTube Originals and runs about 110 minutes. The curated footage will give fans an intimate look behind the scenes throughout years of legendary moments in the Coachella Valley. The best part: it’s a lot cheaper than a VIP wristband!

Audiences can expect to see many of their favorite performers including Daft Punk, Kanye West, Madonna, Travis Scott, Rage Aganst the Machine, and Frank Ocean. Rage Against the Machine, Travis, and Frank were the original 2020 headliners, but there has not yet been any confirmation that the lineup will stay consistent for the new dates of Oct. 9-11 and Oct. 16-18.

Let us know what you think of the movie in the comments below, and when you’re done check out one of our favorites from the LATV Quarantine Queue.
