Bad Bunny Honors Trans Latina on Jimmy Fallon

El Conejo Malo AKA Bad Bunny certainly has a heart of gold and is setting an example of how to be an ally for the LGBTQ+ community. On his recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he wore a t-shirt honoring murdered trans woman Neulisa Luciano Ruiz AKA Alexa Negrón Luciano. Bad Bunny wore a shirt with the message “Mataron a Alexa, no a un hombre con falda,” or in english, “They killed Alexa, not a man in a skirt.”

Alexa Negrón Luciano was murdered shortly after complaints were made to cops about her using the women’s restroom at a McDonalds in Puerto Rico. Since then, videos have surfaced of police officers harassing and threatening to shoot the woman. More about the murder of this trans woman here:

Bad Bunny’s statement during his performance of his new song “Ignorantes” isn’t the first time he’s publicly taken a stand for the LGBTQ+ community. Just last year he put Don Omar on blast via twitter for being homophobic.

Bad Bunny also unveiled the artwork and track list to his new album, which comes out Feb 29th at midnight on streaming services everywhere.

Check out all the clues that lead us to predict he would release an album soon here:
